ITINERARY

Ready for an exhilarating journey? Pack your swimsuit, towel, and sense of adventure, and meet us at our River Base, nestled near the beautiful Golden, BC. When you arrive, our cheery crew will greet you, get you checked in and guide you through the waiver process.

After everyone’s arrived, our lively guides jump-start the adventure with a quick intro and gear talk. Then, it’s into our changerooms to gear up in our quality equipment. Fun fact: we wash, sanitize, and dry it all after every use, so it’s ready for the next adventure.

Now, it’s all aboard our bright yellow buses, and we’ll take you down to the river’s edge, where the real adventure begins!

After we’ve zipped you down to the river put-in, you’ll hop off the bus and huddle up for the informative safety talk, gathering all of the intel needed to conquer the wild water. You’ll then be divided into crews and away you go!

First, you’ll tackle the big Class II to IV+ whitewater in our trusty 16-ft oar-rigged rafts. This is your warm-up lap, where you’ll get to know every wave and rapid. The bus will be eagerly waiting at the river take-out to whisk you back to the start for round two, but with even more intensity!

The second lap, in our sporty, smaller 14-ft all-paddle rafts, will amplify everything. You’ll experience the bounces, the splashes, and the hits like never before! Get ready to feel your heart pounding and the adrenaline coursing through your veins. With paddles in hand for everyone, even the guide, you’ll be paddling hard, digging into the roaring waves and rapids while your guide hollers out commands.

After this double dose of whitewater excitement, the bus will be waiting to scoop you up and make the triumphant return to our River Base. There, you can recharge after conquering 24kms and 28 rapids, over 2 and a half hours, of the best, most thrilling whitewater in the Canadian Rockies.

Back at the River Base, it’s time to wrap up your exhilarating journey. Head into our cozy heated changerooms, where you’ll make the swap from your wet river gear to your dry, comfy clothes.

Out on our spacious deck overlooking the scenic Kicking Horse Valley, it’s time to refuel with a selection of piping hot and refreshing cold beverages– you’ve earned it after all that paddling!

As you relax on the deck, check out the trip photos on display, where you can relive the thrill of the river and catch yourself in action. If you’d like the perfect souvenir to commemorate conquering this challenge (and remind you to plan your next visit!), head into our gift shop – it’s full of goodies! And of course, you can chat with fellow rafters and guides, sharing stories and laughter, basking in the fun and excitement you had on the river. It’s the perfect ending to an extraordinary day!
