Beginner Experiential Banff Rock Climbing Programs
This casual outdoor rock climbing lesson is intended for those who are new to the sport or have never climbed before. During our half- and full-day lessons, participants are taught the safety fundamentals for outdoor climbing, as well as basic rock climbing movement techniques. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable day for participants to get outside, engage in physical activity, and gain new skills and experiences.
1-Day Beginner Outdoor Rock Climbing Course
This introductory course from Yamnuska is intended for those who are new to rock climbing or have already experienced some basic climbing, either in a gym or outdoors. In this course, you’ll learn basic rock climbing skills, how to be aware of potential hazards, and how to mitigate them for top rope climbing locations. You’ll also learn how to become an effective climbing partner when working with experienced climbers.
