Sure, a night out on the town can be fun for everyone. But if you really want to impress your wedding party and go somewhere unique, keep reading. When exploring your options for Banff wedding activities, we strongly recommend an option you may not have thought of yet — Banff Whitewater Rafting! Whitewater rafting for your wedding stag or stagette is not only memorable, but extremely fun! After 25+ years of providing some of the best white water rafting Alberta has to offer, here’s why you should give it a try.
IT’S SOMETHING NEW
Maybe you and your wedding party have never been rafting before. Trying a new activity together as a group can strengthen your relationships, especially if members of your wedding party aren’t well acquainted.
The Whitewater Exciter is an affordable option for wedding groups and features class II to class IV rafting–meaning that rafters will experience a range of easy and challenging rapids that will guarantee that you get wet. Don’t worry, though, the trip is well balanced and the smaller waves will allow you to relax and enjoy the scenery before you crash through the next rapid.
IT’S NOT THE TYPICAL STAG(ETTE)…
Few stags or stagettes start in the morning. If you choose our Tradition Whitewater Rafting Tour, you’ll spend over 24km (15 miles) on the water, riding the class II to class IV+ rapids. The trip includes a BBQ lunch at the RiverBase Daylodge after the trip, and you’re free to bring some beverages to enjoy after the rafting is over. Think of it: whitewater rafting could be the first stop on an adventurous stag(ette)–your imagination is the limit. Though it’s pretty hard to top the excitement of class IV rapids.
GREAT VALUE
The more people that come, the better! With four people, the bride or groom gets 25% off. With eight people, the bride OR groom gets in free. Double that, and both the bride and groom get to ride free. Or, if one of the pair decides to take one for the team, the group gets a 10% discount. If your wedding party is any bigger than that, give us a call for a custom rate. If you and your friends ever wanted to give whitewater rafting a try, this is a great opportunity to do so.
