The Gentle Rafting Trip is your best bet for kids, especially if it’s your first time whitewater rafting. Featuring class I to class III rapids, it provides thrills like the “Alarm Clock” rapid and the “Hopi Hole” rapid. A safe exposure to a fun thrill! Kids may also enjoy learning about the early explorers of the Kicking Horse River and what they were looking for, as well as the local lore.

We have a couple of family-oriented packages/deals for families. First, we offer a birthday party package for nine kids aged 8-14 (plus one adult). The trip is essentially the Gentle Rafting trip but also includes a birthday cake, a free t-shirt for the birthday kid, and a free photo CD for everyone. Second, we have a group discount of 10% for at least eight rafters–as long as they come on the same day, and not necessarily on the same trip, they get the discount!
