#1. Emerald Lake
Just 20 minutes from our Golden rafting RiverBase, Emerald Lake is tucked away in the mountains. There are many great hikes you can do or you can get on the lake and go for a canoe, like @seanstumblingthrough did.

#2. Takakkaw Falls
Drive down the scenic Yoho Valley Road to get to Canada’s second highest waterfall. From there, you can enjoy the view up close like @jennexplores, or hike to Twin Falls. If you’re lucky, you may catch a rainbow by Takakkaw Falls on a sunny day!

#3. Paget Peak
Get away from the crowds and get into the wilderness. This is a great hike with gorgeous views of the Yoho Valley. Even if you only make it up to Paget Lookout, which is an old fire lookout, you won’t be disappointed. But, I recommend taking the scramble to the peak, like @bearfoottheory did.

#4. Mount Seven
Head into Golden, and over to this popular mountain. Hike up to the upper paraglide launch site, like @muriversum did, or drive up to the lower launch site if you aren’t feeling like making the trek. Either way, you’ll get those Instagram-worthy views.
